Favre Flying Under Radar In Green Bay (ap)

There was no parade, no motorcade, and no photo opportunity — hardly the way you’d expect Brett Favre to return to the Green Bay Packers after spending most of the past month as the league’s longest-running daytime drama. If Favre did report to the Packers as expected Monday, none of the fans and media members staking out several entrances to Lambeau Field managed to catch a glimpse of him.

O’s Recall Rhp Aquino, Ship Out Bukvich (ap)

The Baltimore Orioles recalled right-handed reliever Greg Aquino from Triple-A Norfolk on Saturday to replace an ineffective Ryan Bukvich, who was designated for assignment. It will be Aquino’s second stint with Baltimore this season; he had a 14.21 ERA in six games during April, but manager Dave Trembley attributed his ineffectiveness to lack of steady work.

Ratliff Returns To Sixers 7 Years Later (ap)

Theo Ratliff returned to the Philadelphia 76ers on Wednesday, seven years after he was traded from the team during its run to the NBA Finals. The 35-year-old Ratliff played 26 games for Minnesota and Detroit and appeared in 12 of the Pistons’ 17 playoff games. Terms of Ratliff’s deal with the Sixers weren’t disclosed.
